Professional Metronome 1.9

Clipboard Monselice (Pd)

This weekend, the weather having somewhat favorable, I decided to take the camper and go on a trip. The goal was immediately decided: as in the localities Closest not we go away, and I think this is something common to many, I decided to go and visit places that are famous at 50/60 miles from my house, but that, given the proximity, I had not yet gone to visit . The sites are on hills Hills, land of hot springs, oil, wine, and history.
The first landing was Monselice, a walled city with a fortress on a hill from which you can dominate the whole of the Po valley as far as the eye whose construction is due to the Lombards.
After many vicissitudes and various masters, including Ezzelino Romano who was responsible for the final closure of the walls, in 1327 the Carrara, lords of Padua occupy finally the town of Monselice
In 1405 the city was incorporated to Venice and loses its character as a defensive structure to become a resort for the Venetian nobles.
the beginning of 1800 the walls are considered an obstacle to the expansion of the city and are partly demolished !!!!???!!!!
Even then, as now, there was a sense of culture!
